My bestest friend in grade school......She had everything I wanted..... She was an only child while I was the oldest of 5, parents who adored her and took her (and me too) to Geauga Lake roller rink every Friday. She had the greatest poodle skirt and her own roller skates with pompoms on the laces. She had her own room, and her mother made her hot lunches everyday while I had the same old peanut butter sandwiches every day. Her mother and mine were great friends as well as Brownie/GirlScout leaders. Whenever I see a bumble bee (she was highly allergic) or hear the song "You've Lost that Lovin Feelin', I think of her. She was a beautiful, sweet person.

Helen I miss you. Your were a great friend. We use to laugh so hard we cried. And those Warensville Boys.
They were nothing but trouble. We use to get all dolled up and go to the dances. Great times, girlfriend.
May god watch over you
