this was my first experience with something so tragic, and i could never understand why or how Linda had to die. A car accident that bad took away this cute, full of life little girl, sooooo sad for sooo many. Thank God we had Miss Quagliotta (home ec teacher) to help us girls there , we had never known this kind of devastation.
RIP Linda, you are so loved

I will always remember Linda - one of the kids in the neighborhood, on the Glenettes softball team and in my Brownie/Girlscout troop. Not an Easter goes by that I don't think of her and the accident that took her at much too young an age on that holiday - and I've always thought that it was WAY cool that she got to experience Sunrise Sunday in heaven! Surely she was and is an angel!

Empty Dreams

Remember when we used to sit on the bed,
And sing to the records in our heads?
We talked about boys & grew out of playing with toys.
We thought we'd go through life together.
That we would always be there for each other.
We learned to drive cars and once we ran away too far.
We hoped and wished on the stars,
an always pushed our parents too far.
We finally made it out of school.
We learned to hang out & always though we were cool.
Now your gone and I can only remember,
that life gave us a place in our hearts,
that will never let us part.
We'll be friends forever more, even though you've gone to heaven.

This was a poem I wrote Linda after she was taken from us. She was one of my best friends and I'll always miss
her. I think of her often.

Love and miss you!
