Sue is missed more and more with each reunion our class plans. I fully expect her to walk into a meeting and take charge. I think of her whenever I see purple - her favorite color. Her humor, warmth, compassion and faith will be her legacy with every thought of her.

This is the first I've heard of your passing and am deeply saddened. Last time I remember speaking with you was 30 years ago helping to organize a class t-shirt. Your face is very clear in my head, God Bless You.

oh my,

WHAT A TERRIBLE TIME WHEN WE LOST YOU...GLAD WE HAVE YOUR MEMORIES AND SNILING FACE IN PICTURES. YOU WERE ONE OF, IF NOT THE GLUE THAT GOT US TOGETHER FOR REUNIONS!

GOD BLESS DALE AND YOUR CHILDREN.

Susie,

Walking to your house after school together to spend the night at your house...sitting next to each other every Sunday every year, with my mom the teacher in third grade, and your dad the teacher in junior high, then sitting in the balcony afterward for the service at the First Methodist...MYF...Brownie troop 1440 (?)... getting called "two old ladies on the bus" by Mr. Farris because we talked and played with our Troll Dolls during flutophone class in 4th grade...laughing at the end of every sentence we shared...all of it, all of you that was a part of me, is still with me now, and always will be. What a gift you were in my life, and those memories are now. May the peace of Christ be with you, until we meet again.
Jane

Sue you will be missed. You kept the class reunion going for almost 40 years. Thank you for your time an effort.
God Bless you.

I'll have to travel a good distance in Mr. Peabody's wayback machine, back to when Sue was this little tow-headed cutie in kindergarten, (dating alluh way back to Ellenwood!!) for my first memory of our dear friend. She lived right down the darn street from me for catfish sakes, and I'm quite positive we even held hands a few times, which of course sealed the deal. Even when we were all small 'chirren' Sue had a quick smile and a kind word for everyone -attributes she took into adulthood. If I recall correctly (a questionable notion) I believe she had some sort of heart surgery as a very young child. But as anyone knowing her would attest, that wouldn't stop her, she was the first to roll up her sleeves for any sort of class activity, both during and after HS. She was a long time member of the Methodist Church on Center Rd, had a strong faith in God, and it showed in her daily walk. I miss you Sue, and so do we all. Reunions aren't the same without you! Thanks for all you've done.

Dear Sue,
How long I have thought of the time I'd get in touch with you to find out about our next reunion. Finally, I found the site and the reunion was over a few days ago. Now to find out you are gone. It makes my heart ache, yet, the memories are sweet of a beautiful person, who always made everyone feel loved and accepted. Your willingness to be there for all and your loving ways will always be remembered. Someday I'll see you again. Until then, I know you are in a better place and will be watching over all those you love. God bless you and your family.
